I enjoyed this sentence from day 6 from the morning revival and just the prophecy meeting in general.

"Not loving our own soul-life is not the condition for overcoming Satan, it is the basis for overcoming him."

I just realized that denying our soul-life wasn't a condition the Lord put on as an after thought but it was His living while He was on the earth. It is the very foundation of our overcoming life and the way of living our Christian life. This isn't something we can put off for later thinking that we can fulfill this requirement in an instant but it is a day by day process of living out Christ and taking Him as our life so that we spontaneously and automatically deny our soul-life. All we need to do is just give the Lord the ground in our being and denying our soul-life is no longer a suffering but a joy to us. It is only when we refuse to let the Lord have His way in us that we begin to suffer. Denying our soul-life is just developing a taste for something better, which is just developing a taste for Christ.
